Belatedly, Dylan realizes his slip, that he said I'll be okay and not it'll be okay, like he meant to. It seems he's not doing as well with his own nerves as he thought. It also seems, however, that Jack, in his, didn't notice, and he can't say that's not something of a relief, for both their sakes. He doesn't bother to correct himself, that in mind, and instead, offers a gentle, "She's still just a person."
